Officials

We are training adult skating referees and junior skating referees.  Referees may be male or female skaters. Junior referees are ages 8 to 17. Adult referees are 18 and older. If interested in joining, email our RAD Head Official, She.

In addition to skating referees, we are recruiting non skating officials to help keep our bouts running smoothly. These hardworking volunteers run jam clocks, track line ups, crunch stat sheets, and relay calls by refs  to stat recorders. Skating is not required. Again, contact ~She.

Skates
Used skates are available at the rink to borrow temporarily. Inline and quad skates are allowed. Skaters will want to invest in their own skates.

Expenses
Skating officials will be responsible for the following expenses:
  • one ref jerseys (~$30)
  • Insurance for junior refs (price TBA) or WFTDA Insurance for adult refs ($65 annually)
  • personal skating & safety equipment ( price varies)

 Adult Skaters

This sport is for females ages 18 and older who have basic skating skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to train.

Want to Join?
Come to a practice! Your first visit is free. Each practice after that is $5 per session or $20 per month. Be prepared to sign a waiver when you arrive.  Additional questions? Email the captain, RAD Girl 330.
